Hi other IV users,
Did you read the post I wrote above? I think IV need some member who can do foot work. I think IV will agree with my assessment. What is others assessment? If we want to get something done we have to make some strategic and concentrated move.

File 485 on your own Man - They are even contemplating even in issuing the Employer letter.
They are telling me that let the PD retrogress again - we will go by H1B :)
My situation is not any better. I am working for a GA based company since 2001 got stuck in the backlog center with Priority Date Oct 2003 (labor apporved in Nov 2006 I-140 applied in May). After calling the company HR for 30-40 times in last one week I was able to talk to HR guy, he said the ceo will allow only those who have approved I-140 to apply for I-485. He also said then once priority date retogressed again I will be able to get 3 years H1B ext. that will be good for me.:mad: I think these desi blood sucking compnies will be obsolete in couple of years. If USCIS make the rules better.
I was thinking of disclosing my employers name but then I will never be able to file I-485

I just got this email... I have no idea what ADIT means... Does this mean approval? Good luck to those still waiting .. especially the EB3 crowd...

How current is the online status on this uscis website ?
I check it every day ..
For my husband, even though it said card production ordered, the tier 1 customer service said that it was still pending.
But still he got his card, then only after a few days, the cust service also said the same status..
anybody faced this ambiquity with customer service ?

How about we all start a THANK YOU campaign? It would be similar to a flower campaign that we all did we send Thank You cards/letters to the President?

Guys,
Just finished sending the emails.It was very simple and the email from LogicLife was good one...
Used the autofill option and it was really very easy to do that...

Why is the US the be all and end all of your life and career? Is Canada out of the question? It's not always rosey up there, but schools are just as good if not better than US, generally safer and less xenphobic, and they will welcome and appreciate your skills; pay you a fair wage (that through hard work and good relationships you can ratchet up over the years), and welcome your family. CAD is going up. US dollar is going down.
Did you know that most large, publicaly traded, US hi-tech and financial juggernauts have thriving offices in Canada (to take advantage of high skiled quality workforce)? Intel, HP, Agilent, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, AMD, etc. Start applying. And guess what, if you really pine for the start and stripes, you can work your way to a transfer back on an L1 visa which may up your EB category and reduce your wait time.

I'd suggest u guys take ur card magnetization talk onto another thread instead of making other current and still waiting ppl feel bad about the fact that they still dont have cards but here we have others talking about their plastic cards.

Thanks for posting your experience. Did you apply for your SIN and your PR card? Do you (or anyone else) have any info on how that's done or what the procedure is?
- Once you complete landing procedure at POE and provide your Canadian address, PR card will come automatically at your address in mail
- SIN (number printout) you can get instantly at any of the ServiceCanada centers. In Toronto, they have plenty of these centers in downtown (Bay street, lake shore blvd, yonge st ...). Card comes in mail

If the CIR seems likely to pass, I believe Sen. Cornyn will push for this bill to be added to the CIR as an amendment, much similar to what Sen. Durbin did with the DREAM bill. Amongst the bills I have seen, this bill is the best one so far. Agreed it does not address all that we want....but compared to where we are, this bill will achieve a lot for us. Especially, if the AOS clause passes, it pretty much means that you can file I-485 i.e. it means that you and your dependents become eligible for EAD and all the benefits associated with it. :)

I and my wife have been SCREAMING, FIGHTING for over four years now. We are now so frustrated that we have EVEN DISCUSSED THINGS LIKE TAKING UP OUR LIVES !!! I really mean it. For both of us, our career is the single most important thing.
We had decided to wait for our next step in life like having a kid or putting in a big investment till we both at least have a job. Inspite of both of us having Masters degress from US universities, we are both suffering - me languishing in a filthy job and my wife on H4 - for the past 5 years !!! She is now more than 35 making it difficult to have kids etc...
I don't have the choice of going back to my home country due to many other personal reasons. I just don't know what to do... I am losing my sanity.
