The second one is good, but I feel that it's too heavily "weighted" on the right side, with nothing to balance things out on the left side. I only wish that the foreground plant was conveniently moved a yard / meter to the left for you. ;)

Is the GC under EB-2 that quick? I wonder why my attorney didn't try to FIT me on EB-2... I'll definitely research my 'fitting' options as an EB-2.... now, do you know if are there hidden issues on getting a GC as an EB-2 rather than an EB-3? Or, Is a GC the same regardless the employment-based category?
Attorneys prefer EB3, since there is less evidence needs to be submitted, less scrutiny, less risk of RFE or denial, and therefore less work for the attorney.

Now I am working for a company in OPT .
My OPT start at 7/10/2006
My OPT end at 7/9/2007
add 60 days Grace period ,so the date will be 9/7/2007
So 9/7/2007 till 10/1/2007 will have 24 days GAP.
How can I do to solve it ?
You can not work after 7/9/2007.
The end of the OPT will determine when you must stop working.
The 60 days grace period is only for you to take care of business before you go back home. In your case you must wait for 2 months and 24 days before returning to work otherwise you will be in violation of your status.

You are lucky that you are on extended LOP. Try to stay as long as you can on this. This is 100% legal. In parallel look for a job.

NO. Your GC is based on your employer. If you are on H4 => you are not on H1 => you are not working for the company. Therfore cannot use (AOS, is my understanding) and the same 140 to file I485. However if you start a new GC process then you should be able to breeze thru the system i.e. labor, 140 etc. That time you need to get the priority date of your previous labor since your 140 is approved - a lawyer will tell you how.

There should be a box for A number, is it blank?
I remember seeing this discussion more than a year ago. Some have A#, some don't.
My 485 notice has an A number next to "beneficiary" box with my name, 140 has name mentioned in the "applicant" box but no number.
They won't adjudicate 485 without fingerprints, but you have them done already, doubt this will be an issue.

Am I in the same situation? My spouse left US today to INDIA. However we filled the 485 on July 2nd. Will they consider that as abandonment of the application?

Thanks, Kevin. I'm somewhat embarassed, as I did not use any lighting setup, so your attribution of hard work is, I fear, a little misplaced. I have this house with full floor-to-ceiling windows, and was using natural morning light, diffused by the fog that has hung over the bay for the last week in the AM. I used the camera's meter, either spot or center weighted, with manual bracketing when I thought that was insufficient, as was the case with the wreath & red roses.

I was using the 1DMII, and three lenses; the 50mm f/1.8, 100mm f/2.8 Macro, and my newly purchased 16-35mm f/2.8L. Most important was the Manfrotto tripod that allows nearly infinite positioning flexibility. As I said before, I made a cheesy PVC pipe frame and welders clips to hang backgrounds (<10 min fabrication time, <$10). All cases used low f stops, 2-6, & long exposures at low ISO for better quality. I was using the low f stops to help hide the imprefections in the background and give the soft focus effect the customer is looking for.

I have seen many cases where the GC is given to primary applicant and none of his /her benificiaries got GC and otherwise , even though their name checks are cleared.
My Guess is for x number of GCs processed during last week of june, most of the 2008 quota is consumed by their benificiaries just to clean up the mess.
For the retrogressed countries /categories with thighter quota restrictions , i would not be too much hopefull for atleast couple of years.

USCIS gave RFE before denying the petition. in RFE they asked for Client letter and I submitted client letter. I don't have denial notice with me and don't know the reason of denial.
1. If my employer is filing new H1 application why i should go with premium processing? why not regular.
2. Am i out of status now?.
3. Can i do H1 transfer now if someone offers fulltime. Should i tell them that my previous H1 application denied if they are willing to transfer.

My lawyer told me that using EAD will not effected H4 status . It is good to get extensions on H4 along with H1 even you use your EAD to be safer side if some thing wrong with 485

Unfortunately, incompetence and inefficiency can not be grounds of a lawsuit. :)
Lawsuits can only hold ground if you can prove that a particular action taken was wrong as per the rule on the books and it lead to monetory loss or physical pain.

He had EB2 Labor approved with PD 08/2005 and I140 approved.. He is in final six months of his H1.
Now, interestingly his EB3 labor from Previous employer was just approved. However, he is no more working with them. But could convince them to file I140 for the apprvoed EB3 (which is PD 09/2003). and would like to Port the PD to his current EB2 with his present employer.
Did any oone of you experienced this and if so, can you please share your experience..
What are the Dos and Donts for this case.. Appreciate your replies.

I have a copy of the I-140 Approval Notice. It does not have A# nor any field for A#. What am I missing? Guys, please clarify.
